About the role:
Are you a strategic purchaser with a passion for sustainability and a drive to create profitable growth? Look no further. We are looking for a Category Manager to drive category strategy, purchasing and development. This is a developing position in a great team. If you have what it takes, you will be offered a position and be able to grow not just the business but also yourself to new heights.
In this role, you will play a key part in aligning category strategy, consumer needs, and our product offering to support and accelerate business objectives. You will also be responsible for supplier management, building long-term partnerships, and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration to strengthen our network within the FMCG and food industry.

What You’ll Do:
As a Category Manager FMCG / Food, you are responsible for the strategy and purchasing of our online shop assortments
Manage our key accounts within your category and develop and strengthen relationships with existing partners
Supplier management - Acquire new suppliers and win additional brand partners for strategic collaborations
Expand our decision-maker network within the food industry and deepen the cooperation with our partners
Optimize purchasing decisions and improve results based on historical data and KPIs
Develop and expand our assortment strategy together with our merchandising team and other cross functional departments
Stock management - you ensure efficient stock management by balancing availability, turnover, and profitability across your assortments
To be successful in this role, we believe you need:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FMCG category management and purchasing of consumer goods, ideally in flash sales or overstocks
Commercial mindset
Strong negotiation and communication skills are part of your DNA
You enjoy building relationships and establishing new partnerships
Great analytical skills, using data and customer insights to drive improvements
Fluency in Swedish and in English
You are passionate about our mission to save food and make sustainable consumption easily accessible
