We are looking for a new member to our tight team that brings an unquenchable thirst for knowledge about our customer experiences during their entire customer journey.
Tech at Matsmart/Motatos:
Matsmart/Motatos is one of the leading e-commerce companies in Sweden. We are now investing heavily in our own customer measurement framework and integrating user behavior metrics into the product development process. We have a modern e-commerce architecture built on a headless e-commerce platform based on Drupal, content from Contentful, and React frontend. As the first dedicated UX Researcher at Matsmart/Motatos, part of the CX Team, your focus will be helping our customers by listening to their needs and goals, analyzing their behavior and contributing to a user-centered product development process on a global scale. You will be part of driving a positive change, fighting food waste, and reducing our climate footprint. ♻️
Your responsibilities will be to validate, redefine and help improve existing and proposed user experiences. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative user research activities, analyze and report findings and recommendations to stakeholders together with the UX Lead while supporting the organization with solid research findings during the discovery and the product development process. Work across teams to communicate and represent the customer's point of view. Act as the go-to person for all inquiries related to user behavior insights.
We believe that you:
The perfect match for this role would have limitless curiosity about user behavior and motivation drivers. We see that you have 2-5 years of experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative user research findings and can demonstrate those in a portfolio*. You should be an excellent communicator in English and in Swedish and have great interpersonal skills working with various levels of audiences in the organization. You know your way around the tools of the trade as well as have deeper knowledge of quantifiable and the qualitative data and can extract meaningful insights from both. We also believe that you are someone who is comfortable presenting your findings to a large audience both IRL and digitally. Last but not least you should be able to understand stakeholder needs from a strategic, technical, communications, and sales point of view.
Good to have:
- A background in e-commerce or other digital applications and also working closely with users of various types of services
- A comprehensive understanding of the digital product development lifecycle
- Personal interest and experience in sustainable development
